I was lucky enough to have Danielle teach two of my children how to swim when we lived in Texas. My older son took lessons when he was 2 1/2 - I was very nervous, as he seemed so little to swim on his own. The first week was hard, my son cried, I cried that he was crying and Danielle reassured us that it would be worth it. BOY was it worth it. The second week my son was swimming, like really swimming on his own across the pool! It is such an amazing transformation. Week 4 of lessons my son was jumping in the pool and swimming and floating without any issue - all thanks to Danielle. She really does go above and beyond her job, it is obviously her passion. Danielle spends the time to talk to the parents about why something is being done, spends the time to build a relationship with the child she is teaching and in the end the trusting caring relationship is what helps the swimmer relax and learn to swim. I loved that each day Danielle always reported what my son had done well and what we would aim for the next lesson.
We were so thrilled with the results from my older son we brought our second son to Danielle the following summer. He was only 16 months old so all the nerves came out again, but once again Danielle was so confident with my son he was floating on his back before I knew it....my BABY was swimming and floating!!!! Having a child who can swim well and with confidence is the best feeling for a parent. I took such pride and joy that my two year old was jumping off a diving board into the deep end and swimming to the edge with such ease, I owe all that to Danielle. I can say with out a doubt choosing Danielle to teach your child to swim is one of the best choices you can make. I would recommend her to anyone - I only wish I could have her teach my other kids to swim now too but the commute from California to Canada is a bit too far.

We had the pleasure of putting both of our children through Swim Baby Swim with Danielle Ruais in McKinney TX. It was incredible to see our children thrive in the water. We started both children in the program as infants. One started at 8 months and the other at 11 months. She worked patiently with each of them as they progressed at different paces. After the program was complete we had 100% comfort in knowing that our children could survive in a pool if an unfortunate accident were to take place. As a parent of 2 active children that love to be around the water, there was nothing more comforting. She was firm but warm with them and knew exactly how to help them achieve the ultimate goal of floating to the wall. Today, their swimming continues to be astounding and I believe that it is because of the foundation that Danielle established with them at Swim Baby Swim. Thank you Danielle!

Danielle is the best! My son started lessons when he was 15 months old and she taught him for two years. She was the best he loved her so much. He cried when he was done with lessons because he missed her! When he was 2, he would get in the bath tub and practice his swimming and would say "I wub Danielle"! She gave my husband and I such peace of mind. We knew when we were around the pool if he fell in he would be able to save himself! California is lucky to have such a wonderful teacher!

Danielle with Coastal Infant Aquatics is fantastic. She taught 2 of my children to be completely self sufficient in the water. My son could swim-float-swim at 13 months fully dressed including shoes and a regular diaper. I am a firm believer that you can't start survival swim lessons too early with your children. My son continued with Danielle for refresher courses for the next two years. She also taught my daughter as an infant and we also followed up with refresher courses. I can't recommend Danielle enough. She is child/family friendly, outgoing and knows how to teach these babies to swim! She's was also great about working with our schedule. Consider her ... she's worth every penny!

When it comes to finding a swim instructor for your child, look no further! Danielle is AMAZING at what she does! I can not say enough wonderful things about her talent in teaching little kids to swim. She taught both my fearful 4.5 year old and my fearless 2.5 year old how to "swim, float, swim" to the side of the pool if they ever fell in. I can't even describe the peace of mind I had knowing that my boys had the skills to protect themselves should they ever fall in without anyone watching. Danielle was committed to the lessons and while only 10 minutes long, the daily exposure really made a difference in the skill levels of my kids. Within three weeks, my 2.5 year old was swimming across the pool! It was a sight to see! My 4.5 year old had much more confidence in the water and was able to relax and float with Danielle's help; something he'd never allowed himself to do before. Compared to swim schools where the kids only have one lesson a week or a group lesson taught by teenagers, her lessons actually displayed progress! Danielle's experience and ease with the kids made for a positive and truly beneficial experience. What my kids learned from her is priceless and I feel so lucky that they were able to work with her. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a swim instructor.

I am very happy I made the decision to start my children with Danielle and Survival Swimming. I admit I was very nervous about the process when I first started my 4 year old son. The first day he made amazing progress and he was so proud of himself. It brought tears to my eyes watching my big boy float and swim on his own. I was so impressed with his progress I started my 2 year old daughter the following week. She would cry at first she didn't want to go in the water but she too made amazing progress. At the end of 10 minutes she was smiling and proud of herself. I can't begin to tell you how important I feel survival swim lessons are, especially here in Texas. I know my children will be playing around pools every summer and it is very important to me to know that if they fell in they could find there way out of the pool. My son was enrolled in other swim classes but did not make any where near the progress he made in survival swim classes. Not only did he learn how to swim he developed his self confidence in the pool. My children's safety is very important to me and survival swim lessons are essential. I highly recommend Danielle and Coastal Infant Aquatics, LLC.

Danielle is an awesome swim instructor. We went to her for Swim Float Swim lessons when my daughter was 2 and 3. Ava was fearful of the water but with the short lessons daily, we saw that fear go away and she turned into little fish! Danielle was very patient with Ava even when Ava did not want to do the lesson. She encouraged her and was lots of fun. Since the Swim Float Swim lessons, Ava went on to older swim lessons and the swim instructor complimented her swimming abilities. Ava continues to be a fish and I know it is because we began with Danielle teaching her Swim Float Swim!
